This
beautiful
mermaid is named Violet, her tail fin is the color
violet(partially-it has several different colors) and also has
flower sequins everywhere, violets are flowers as well. I think this
name suits her perfectly. her manner is violet as well. How does one
act violet? I equate violet with mellow. She is very very mellow,
goes with the flow down in the oceans depths. She doesn't like to
rock the boat(a great pun right?)in any way and she LOVES to mess
with her hair! And why not? It is a stunning palest yellow with
darker yellow edges and lots of light gold glitter throughout. She has a pinky/purpley ( violet) tail with purple and silver glitter throughout. Then there are the flower sequins along with some big star beads. which are dark pink with an iridescent something over them. Cool beads. I should really write down the names of these stones when I buy them. The background is green with a pearlescent yellow over that which I then layed a cloth over to make this neat design. Very water-like, it has a lot of "movement" as we like to say in the painting world. All in all a spectacular piece! This one is a winner, it looks beautiful on the wall for sure. I have it hanging right now on a dark blue wall and it really pops! I can't think of a color this piece wouldn't look good on. Maybe orange. OK, it measures 9"x12" and is on canvas and is framed in a maple wood floater frame which then makes the total measurements 10.5" x 13.5" and 1&1/4 inches deep. I don't have a side view of this piece but the frame is the same as the ones on Sirena and Elvira so take a look at the side view on those mermaids. whew, I've rambled on enough! Thank you for checking out my mermaid collection! |
